Johnson signs with Midland Lutheran

Granite Hills senior Larry Johnson signed a national letter of intent on Thursday to play football at Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska.

Johnson, the Cougars’ defensive MVP, will receive a combination athletic and academic scholarships to cover part of his expenses.

He also got offers from Malone University, Ottawa University, Mayville State and Dakota State.

Johnson was named to the Daily Press All-Area first team and all-Desert Sky League first team this past season.
