Jenkins headlines All-DSL team

Silverado junior quarterback Jemeryn Jenkins was named the Desert Sky League Offensive Player of the Year as the All-DSL football team was released.

Jenkins’ skills as a runner and passer helped lead the Hawks to a first-place tie in the league with Barstow and Burroughs.

The Burros’ Dominic Sween was named DSL Defensive Player of the Year. Matt Gracey of Burroughs and Carl Posey of Silverado were named the league’s co-coaches of the year.
