D’BACKS SOLID: At Arcadia, the Serrano girls distance medley team placed ninth out of 32 teams at the Arcadia Invitational. Lauren Minnick, Dani Foxvog, Jessica Feuerstine and Natasha Coe finished with a time of 12 minutes, 36.79 seconds.

On the boys side Jamaal Franklin competed in the invitational heat of the high jump and posted a mark of 6 feet, 5 inches.
