The Jackrabbits senior second baseman said she’s excited to play with the junior college out of Big Springs, Texas.

“It was really good,” said Demara of visiting the campus. “The people out there are really welcoming.”

Demara said she plans to focus on her grades before eventually transferring to a four-year university in Arizona.

Demara hit .387 with a .434 on-base percentage, 33 RBIs and 24 runs last season.
