Strong showing for Burroughs at Arcadia

ARCADIA • Two Burroughs athletes had solid performances at the Arcadia Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Kayla Kovar finished fourth in the invitational events for the shot put (43 feet, 33⁄4 inches) and the discus (137-8). Her mark in the shot put set a school record.

In the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, junior Karl Moran’s time of 39.63 seconds was fourth in his heat.
