Kimani Lane led Apple Valley with 19 points and added three rebounds and two assists; Absalom Smith scored 13 points with nine assists and six rebounds; Isaiah Trejo grabbed eight rebounds; and Brian Landini went 5-for-10 from the 3-point line to finish with 15 points. Sun Devils junior Keauyon Fields had eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.
Apple Valley (17-7, 4-2 MRL) plays at Hesperia on Thursday and then travels to Rim of the World on Friday for a rescheduled game.

For Apple Valley Christian (4-17, 2-7 AL), Tyler Mason had 21 points and seven steals. Jared Rodgers and Keith Taylor each grabbed six rebounds.
