Sheriff's officials respond to alarm call at Victorville funeral home
VICTORVILLE • A 27-year-old man was arrested for burglary after he left a blood trail from inside the McKay Family Funeral Home, San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials said.
A deputy responded to an alarm call at 6:05 a.m. Sunday at the Victorville funeral home in the 14400 block of Seventh Street, according to officials.
While checking the rear of the business, the deputy saw a broken window and Joel Rubio walking from the south side of the business, officials said. Rubio, who had a laceration to his hand, was arrested.
Rubio was booked at the Victor Valley jail. His bail is set at $25,000. He’s scheduled to appear in Victorville court Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s website.
