Fight at Spring Valley Lake Bar

A verbal disturbance inside the bar of Marina Lounge at Spring Valley Lake resulted in a physical fight in the parking lot when three males from one party got into a SUV.

The driver, Elandzell Engram, 19, collided with a nearby building, hit a parked vehicle and then accelerated toward bystanders.

An off-duty sheriff's deputy, fearing the suspect was going to run over bystanders, shot the suspect's tires. The suspect's vehicle continued and hit a second parked vehicle and then left the area.

Witnesses were able to provide a vehicle description and sheriff's deputies took Engram into custody. He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon at Victor Valley Jail.

The incident is still under investigation, according to sheriff's officials.
