Woman accused of stealing $3,100 in merchandise from Target

STAFF WRITER

A Hesperia woman is accused of stealing $3,100 in merchandise from the Main Street Super Target.

Mary Robinson, 46, was arrested at her home after San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Deputy Frank Hardin served a search warrant at her residence. Robinson's license plate number matched one recorded by Target security guard who had followed a woman allegedly leaving the store with merchandise she had not paid for.

At her home, Hardin allegedly found more than 150 items stolen from Target over the past six months, with a total value of $3,100.

Robinson was arrested for commercial burglary and booked at West Valley Detention Center.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Hesperia sheriff's station at 760-947-1500 or call the anonymous WE-TIP line at 800-782-7463.
