Local businesses, dignitaries mark beginning of Be a Santa to A Senior

VICTORVILLE • In the lobby of Desert Valley Community Hospital the holiday season got off to a decorative start on Monday as local businesses and dignitaries placed decorations on a tree to mark the beginning of the Be a Santa to a Senior program.

The area office of Home Instead Senior Care has joined several nonprofit agencies and JCPenneys to provide presents to seniors who otherwise might not receive a gift this holiday season.

Brandi Johnson, owner of the local Home Instead Senior Care says the Be a Santa to A Senior is a great way to give back to the older adults in the community during the holiday season.
