Man who held store door open for patrons beaten

SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — San Bernardino police are searching for two young men who beat a 63-year-old man nearly to death after he held open the door of a convenience store for customers.

Sgt. Dave Dillon says the man opened the door of Jimmy’s Food Store for two men last Thursday when one of the men made a comment to the victim. Dillon says there was a brief exchange, then one of the men punched the elder man.

Dillon says the other man joined in and the two beat the victim even after he lay on the ground.

Police say the 63-year-old remains in critical condition and is not expected to survive.

There have been no arrests.

notice how a description of the BLACK MALE perps is left out of the article? You know that they're black simply BECAUSE the description was left out of the article. How PC of the DP, huh?
