Focus on fire safety

Firefighter/paramedic John Wymore hands stickers to Cory Amore, a student in Amber Silva’s First 5 class at Lenwood Elementary School, as classmates Christyn Vasquez, Eduardo Esquivel-Garcia and Zachary Ray wait to leave the truck. Wymore, Captain Rich Ross and Engineer John McNelis of the Barstow Fire District told the students about the importance of fire safety and showed them how the fire truck worked. Silva had brought the students to the back parking lot, where the firefighters arrived with their sirens on.
