Head-on collision slows traffic at Highway 395 and Palmdale Road

ADELANTO • A head-on collision involving three vehicles near the intersection of Highway 395 and Palmdale Road slowed traffic in both directions Friday afternoon, according to initial reports.

A F-250 truck was struck head-on by a Toyota near the Adelanto intersection, according to initial reports.

A minivan tried to make a left onto Palmdale Road from Bellflower Road and pulled out in front of the Toyota which was traveling west on Palmdale Road, according to witnesses. The impact then sent the Toyota head-on in to the pick up truck which was waiting to make a left onto Bellflower Road, officials said.

Only minor injuries have been reported.

Traffic has slowed in both directions on Palmdale Road as investigators cleared the scene.

All three vehicles suffered major damage.
