Saturation patrols slated for Super Bowl Sunday

San Bernardino County Sheriff's and California Highway Patrol officials will be conducting saturation patrols throughout the Victor Valley during the Super Bowl on Sunday, officials said.

Deputies and officers will be monitoring the roadways and highways looking for impaired drivers in an effort to keep motorists safe Sunday, officials said.

Officials encourage those who will be attending Super Bowl parties to remember to find a sober designated driver ahead of time. Anyone who feels they are too impaired to drive can always arrange other ways to get home, whether it’s through calling a sober friend or a taxi service.

Authorities also encourage anyone who sees an impaired driver to call 911.
