One arrest, one still sought in Kramer Junction robberies

KRAMER JUNCTION • The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has identified two suspects in a series of armed robberies in Kramer Junction.

Delon Johnson, 20, and Perry Lewis, 49, were named as suspects following an investigation into robberies at the Burger King and AM/PM in Kramer Junction, according to a sheriff’s department report. Investigators found clothes they believed Johnson wore during the robberies when they searched an abandoned Boron house he had been staying in. Sgt. Robbie Ciolli said Lewis was identified by witnesses.

The Fontana Police Department arrested Johnson for an outstanding theft warrant he had from Vallejo Saturday evening, according to Ciolli. Johnson admitted to participating in the robberies when he was interviewed by Deputy Jacob Gault at the West Valley Detention Center Sunday.

Johnson is currently being held at the Adelanto Detention Center in Adelanto on $100,000 bail. Lewis is still being sought by the sheriff’s department and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Perry Lewis is encouraged to contact Detective Bill Doemner or Gault at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Barstow station at 760-256-4838 or call we-tip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
