Human remains found in L.V.

LUCERNE VALLEY • Officials retrieved unidentified human remains discovered in Lucerne Valley, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The Victor Valley sheriff’s station received a report Tuesday afternoon that remains had been found in the desert area south of Northside Road and west of Lincoln Road. Deputies arrived at the scene and determined they were human remains before the Coroner Division took them for examination.

The Sheriff’s Department as of Wednesday evening hadn’t released information on the identification of the remains, the cause of death or who discovered the remains.
