3.4 quake jostles Hesperia

HESPERIA • A magnitude-3.4 rumbled through Hesperia around 4:58 p.m. Monday.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's dispatch center received a number of phone calls but no reports of injury or damage.

The temblor was centered eight miles east southeast of Hesperia and about four miles deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
