Woman robbed at gunpoint in her driveway

HESPERIA • As a woman was returning home from a night out, two men jumped out, put a gun to her head and robbed her early Thursday morning, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Hesperia station officials said.

Deputies are still searching for the robbers, Roxanne Walker, spokeswoman for the Hesperia station, and they are considered dangerous.

The victim returned home at about 3:15 a.m. and was sitting in her driveway in the 9400 block of Hickory Avenue when the men approached her, placed the gun to her head and demanded her wallet, Walker stated.

After they took her property the men ran off and got into a black vehicle, possibly a Honda.

The robbers are described as black men in their 20s with thin builds and both standing about 6 feet tall.
