Another cut announced for Barstow courthouse

Filing of informal juvenile matters to cease

BARSTOW • In a continued effort to address severe ongoing budget reductions, the San Bernardino County Superior Court will stop accepting direct filings of informal juvenile citations effective March 1, according to a press release.

Citations can presently be filed and heard in the Barstow, Big Bear, Joshua Tree, Needles, San Bernardino Juvenile Delinquency and Victorville court districts.

Beginning March 1, all informal juvenile citations under Welfare & Institutions Code, section 256, must be filed with the San Bernardino County Probation Department at 150 W. Fifth St., San Bernardino, 92415.
