Man killed in truck crash near Baker

BAKER • A man died from injuries he received when his truck was involved in a wreck with a tractor trailer on Interstate 15 near Baker Thursday.

The man was driving a box truck northbound on Interstate 15 when he rear-ended a tractor trailer six miles north of Baker at approximately 3:34 a.m., according to a San Bernardino County Coroner’s report. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner is withholding his name and hometown pending notification of his family.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the traffic collision.
