Missing Montana girl found north of Baker

BAKER • FBI agents recovered a missing 12-year-old Montana girl Tuesday evening about 25 miles north of Baker who had traveled by car to California with two men, one of whom she met on the Internet.

Agents arrested 28-year-old Edgar “Eddie” Le, of Escondido, who the girl had met online, as well as another man, Dennis Nelson, 37, of San Diego, at 5 p.m.

Montana authorities have charged Le with custodial interference.

Authorities had issued an Amber Alert for Jasmine Walker, of Kalispell, Mont., and suspected she was with Le in his 1996 black Honda Accord.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry told the Associated Press that it appeared the girl had developed an online relationship with Le and he had traveled to Montana to pick her up.

Walker had been missing since Monday night.
