No charges in attorney case

VICTORVILLE • The San Bernardino County District Attorney's office has declined to file charges against a Victorville attorney arrested on suspicion of stalking his ex-wife.

Attorney Patrick T. Nichols said his 2009 arrest was the product of a bitter child-custody dispute, adding that his ex-wife called deputies well over 60 times regarding child custody issues.

“The District Attorney’s office has never filed charges against me on any of her complaints,” Nichols said in a statement. Nichols said he plans to file a complaint with Sheriff’s internal affairs over alleged misconduct and launch a website, CorruptDeputy.com.
