AutoZone to open on Maple in April
Auto parts store to employ 10
Hesperians will have another auto parts retailer to choose from in mid-April, when a new AutoZone location opens.
“It’s a typical store, about 7,500 square feet,” company spokesman Bill Pullman said Monday. “Typically it’s about 10 (employees), and that’s a mix of (seven) full-time and (three) part-time.”
The new store will be located on Maple Avenue, adjacent to the Stater Bros. shopping center. It will be the chain’s third location in Hesperia.
“Typically our stores are spread out in a three-mile radius. We determined there’s a lot of out of warranty vehicles in your city,” Pullman said, which led to the decision to add a third site.
