Snow a possibility Tuesday night

The Victor Valley may have not seen the last of winter weather just yet.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Apple and Lucerne Valleys from late Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning, according to Accuweather.com.

Forecasters say a low pressure system will move across Southern California this afternoon which may drop the snow level close to 2,000 feet by early Wednesday morning. In addition to the threat of snow, there is also a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by hail Wednesday afternoon, according to AccuWeather.

“This means travel problems are a very distinct possibility over all the passes. Snowfall accumulations will not be real high, but resorts could pick up 3 to 8 inches,” said Ken Clark, Accuweather Expert Senior Meteorologist.
