Adelanto fire destroys garage, occupants are safe

A fire ripped through the garage of a house in the 11400 block of Bristol Court in Adelanto at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Thursday evening.

Eleven firefighters battled the blaze that was contained as of 7:11 p.m., according to officials on the scene.

Three occupants of the home evacuated safely.
