Hospital construction moves forward

Workers use concrete pumps to pour the basement walls on the new Barstow Community Hospital building Monday afternoon. The new hospital broke ground last September and hospital spokesman John Rader said the construction is currently on schedule. Workers expect to begin putting up the steel framework in about a month.
